Phoenix is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who work throughout the year to support our members, oversee our productions and help our society continue to thrive.
Chairman
Sophie Castle
Sophie has been Chairman since 2024, leading the company’s growth, facilitating meetings, supporting productions, guiding decisions, and helping us continue to thrive and succeed.
Secretary
Sonia Hill
Sonia enjoys her role as Secretary, helping grow the company through ideas and passion for drama, while also supporting the props team by sourcing and maintaining props.
Treasurer
Paul Clasby
Paul has served as Treasurer on our committee for many years, helping guide our financial decisions and keeping us on budget. You will find him in the box office at each of our shows.
Patron's Secretary
Steven Penfold
Steve has been with Phoenix for 30 years, serving three times on the committee, twice as Patrons Secretary, alongside performing, directing and supporting backstage.
Vice-Chair and Publicity Officer
Sass Adams
Sass first joined in 1995. and now enjoys leading our publicity team and producing our member's newsletter. She has also been known to write and direct the odd pantomime or two!

Tony Silk
Tony joined us in January 2025 helping with set and stage management. He now advises the committee on backstage and technical, whilst still keeping everyone calm backstage.

Dylan Gover
Dylan joined the Committee in 2023. He enjoys helping out wherever he can, from organising radio interviews for each show, to 'Storytime' in local libraries for each panto.

Raj Khan
Raj joined Phoenix in 2025 and has performed in various productions since then. He is excited to help and support everyone for upcoming shows and events.

Andy Ripley
Andy joined us to perform in just the one show in 2024, but stayed and performed in a variety of shows since. When not on stage he often supports the back stage crew building sets.
